Greetings from Asia. Actually I recorded this show just before leaving on my latest Asia adventure. But I did the edits on the plane and in the hotel room, so that counts (sort of). In this episode, I call out Cliff again. This time I highlight how Cliff is doing affiliate marketing the right way. On his podcasts (several) of them, Cliff is talking about his Fitbit. - Backlinks from content on pages like Squidoo and Blogger
- Backlinks from Social site profiles (like the “my site” link in your Twitter profile)
- Backlinks from social buzz when people are talking about your pages.

Shout out to Wink Dinkerson from KRUD radio. That was one of my cheesy voices from when I was in high school. I was a speech drama and debate geek in high school. In fact, I lettered in debate, which is kind of geeky. Not football, not soccer, debate. I was offered a scholarship to college for debate – I don’t know if you even know that they have these things, but there are scholarships. I did that and it was fun, I really miss it sometimes, I like to argue with people.
Heading Out to Singapore
Thanks for tuning in. I’m actually on my way out the door. I have a flight to L.A. and then to Hong Kong, then on to Taiwan and Singapore. I’m trying to get this in the can before I get on the airplane and I’ll probably edit it on the way out to L.A. and try to upload it from the L.A. airport from the Admiral’s Club there.
I’m flying American Airlines, hoping very much that my seat doesn’t come loose and all this crazy stuff that’s been going on with American. I love American Airlines, they’re a Dallas based company, they’ve always taken very good care of me. I know they’re having all kinds of crazy labor things going on and finance things going on, but I love them. I’ve flown hundreds of thousands of miles with American Airlines and I hope this all goes okay.
I love going to Asia, I love Singapore particularly. I think it’s one of the coolest places to go in the world. It’s shopping on steroids. It’s an amazing little island country that is just crammed full of interesting people, all very nice. I’m looking forward to doing that.
