I really like Colleen Slater.  As many of you know, Colleen is the author of an eBook that I recommend called Blog Inferno.  Colleen is a “super affiliate,”  and her eBook is a step-by-step guide building a affiliate empire part time.  One of the things that I like about Colleen is that she builds her internet business part time.  She has a serious day job (like me), so I really identify with her.  I also like the fact that she is a big fan of Firepow, which is another product that I believe in.

Really Weird Promotion

Colleen's list is one of the few lists that I subscribe to.  Well, actually, I subscribe to many lists, but her emails are some of the few that I actually look at.   Anyway, the other day she sent me this weird email promotion about a $5 eBook.  The email was from Colleen, so honestly, I just bought it sight unseen.

It Was The Weirdest Sales Page I Had Ever Seen

The eBook is called Secret Associated Wealth, and it is all about how this guy is making $10,000/month using sales pages that tie in his products to big Hollywood media things like Star Wars and Indiana Jones, etc.  It is by far the strangest sales page that I have ever seen.  You need to check out the video on the sales page. Totally weird.

Whether or not you need this product is up to you and where you are in your business.  If you are writing some sales letters or landing pages, then you may want to take a look.

The case studies are actually quite good, and the product is well worth the $5.  Of course, $5 is not a very high hurdle, and the low price really confuses me.  Especially since the product comes with the 4 case study videos and the eBook content is solid.

On thing that is interesting is that this guy went from zero dollars in April of 2007 to $10,000 per month in just over a year.

The bottom line of the eBook is that presentation graphics are really important in marketing materials, and there are really cool ways you can leverage mainstream mind share that already exists around HollyWood products like Star Wars.

Even if you don't purchase the eBook, I'd love to know what you think about that weird sales page.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
