Are you interested in making money online, but you don't know where to start? There are lots of ways to do it. Some are more lucrative than others. Some are better for your soul than others. Want my advice? Start a blog about something that interests you and put some work into it. Create a valuable resource for that people will appreciate. Help people.
That is exactly what my buddy is doing over at NutritionHealthStore.com. My friend has started a blog about a topic that he is interested in, and is publishing helpful information at the site. It's pretty simple, really. If he does a good job creating value there, people will visit again and again. Some of those people will try the products that he recommends. If they do, he can make some money. Not much at first, but slowly, over time, he can build a real business with real customers.
But what if he takes advantage of people and recommends stuff just to make a buck? That is the beauty of the free market. People who get bad advice won't come back. Word will get out and the business will die. Luckily, my friend is a great guy and a smart business man. He knows about the importance of trust, and will work hard to make the blog a valuable resource.
So, drop by NutritionHealthStore and say hello. Read his article about Why Breakfast is Important. Drop him a comment and tell him what you think of the article. Better yet, sign up for his email newsletter to get a free gift. Oh, and tell him “Mark sent you.”
Regards,
Mark
I just wanted to note that CSSRetard.com is available if you wanted it. 😉
Nice, I see he is utilizing the new PepperjamNetwork Store. While it doesn’t look all to great with the way he has it styled I can really see some potential with it.
And I completely agree with you on doing something that you are passionate about. I was lost on my blog about 1.5 months ago and didn’t know what to do with it. Beings I know quite a bit about web design I figured I would just write about that and it has been a lot easier to blog. I can provide quality content that is easy for my readers to understand.
Yep — I think that Garry actually got him turned on to that niche.
I love your blog. I am a programmer but a CSS retard. I read every post.

Thanks a million…. I do find it hard to keep focused on one thing but do try and put passion into my work…
Hey Jarret, I agree about the Pepperjam styling, right now I just threw it in, as am not sure if I want it to be there or not yet. The site still has some tweaks and changes to be done.
I agree you need to be passionate — more so for a blog as it requires content, content and more content.
As for monetizing, Google Adsense is probably one of the strongest.
There are some sites online where users can make money with Google Adsense without a website (so totally 100% free). Here are some sites that do revenue share with adsense: Google Adsense Revenue Share List . There are others out there, but these are approved.
Just thought I would share since its nice to have zero overhead in this down economy. My wife is calling. Have a nice day.
One tip to Your buddy. He should not overuse the use of WordPress Tags. Every tag pointing to a new page. For SEO purpose, as I have noticed, is to have between 3 – 6 tags, really targeted to the posts content. That will help strengthen the tag-pages in SE
