This week’s tip might seem a little strange and you may say, “Mark, I think you’ve gone bonkers.” The tip is… sleep less. I’m serious about this. Of course, I’m telling you this at 1:52 AM and this is the “Late Night Internet Marketing Blog.”
I’ve talked to my wife about this and she assures me I’m not completely crazy. Women are amazing, they have children and then for six months they don’t sleep because the kid wakes up in the middle of the night and they have to get a bottle, or nurse, or change a diaper, and all those new baby middle of the night tasks.
Even if the parents are taking turns handling the middle of the night baby tasks, chances are both mom and dad are waking up each time. If it’s a second kid the first kid is up at 6:00 in the morning even if you fed the other kid at 4:00. So, there’s six or eight months there where new parents don’t sleep at all.
So, I don’t know why internet marketers need to sleep any more than new parents do. I’m not saying make yourself sick, but there’s not any reason in the world you can’t squeeze 15, 20, or 30 minutes out of your normal bedtime to work on your internet business. Consider at least for a little while getting up early or go to bed a little later and see if you can’t get a little extra work done on your internet business as a part time internet marketer, you’ll love it.
