When Jack Dorsey (@jack) Evan Williams (@ev) and Biz Stone (@biz) started Twitter in 2006, I am quite sure that they had no idea what they had. I never even heard of Twitter until 2008, so I sure had no idea what they had.
Twitter is a Micro-blogging platform, and unless you have been visiting Mars for the past year, you know that Twitter is all the rage lately. As you know, writing on Twitter is called micro-blogging because you can enter up to 140 characters per message.
Who would have thought? If you would have asked me about Twitter in 2006, I probably would have said “cool but useless.”
How many other things like that am I missing?
I wonder this all the time. If I missed Twitter, what else am I missing?
Well, how about QuickScrib.com? My buddy Josh Spaulding is in the process of launching a new experimental project called QuickScrib.com. Like Twitter, it's free to use, free to join and there is no affiliate program. When first looked at it, I thought “cool but useless.”
Yikes — that is exactly what I said about Twitter.

I love u-tube am a member in myspace, my granchildren (x seven) are always on MSM,Bebo,
Twitter and various other ones that always pop up in MSM.
The young kids nowadays love that sort of thing, and if I was there age again I would be right there myself. And I think if another mini blogger came up, it would definately be another
success story.

Thanks for the heads-up! I am a big fan of Josh’s products, so will be checking this out right now! I am still coming to grips with Twitter — like you, when I first saw it being talked about I went “Okay, pretty cool, but what can you actually DO with it?”, so I didn’t get in at the beginning.
Won’t be making the same mistake again though. If you are lurking about Josh, sounds like another great product from a great and honest marketer, good luck with it!

It already has a pretty low Alexa so must have been up for a while now.

Just checked this out, and posted my first QuickScrib (no: 180!). A quick note to all you Internet Marketers out there, this will be a goldmine if you don’t abuse it! Each post (Scrib) can contain two URLs right in the post — think about the possibilities! 😉
