Back in 2011, my friend Andrew Hansen released an affiliate marketing course called Unstoppable Affiliate. At the time, I considered it one of the best affiliate marketing courses available, particularly for people who were building small affiliate sites as a part-time business. The course is no longer available for purchase, but the principles Andrew taught are worth revisiting because many of them still hold up today.

What Made Unstoppable Affiliate Different

The thing I appreciated most about Andrew's approach was that it came from real experience. Andrew was not someone who made money selling courses about making money. He was an actual affiliate marketer who traveled the world — from Australia to Canada to Mexico to London — while running profitable affiliate sites. The course was the result of six to eight months of intensive work on his own affiliate systems, and it showed.

The course covered four main areas that remain relevant for any affiliate marketer:

  • Research: Finding profitable niches and affiliate offers with low competition and high conversion potential
  • Site Strategy: Building focused affiliate sites designed to rank well and serve visitors effectively
  • Conversion: Turning visitors into buyers through honest, helpful content rather than aggressive sales tactics
  • Traffic: Driving the right visitors to the right pages using sustainable methods

The Timeless Lesson

The specific tactics from 2011 have largely changed. The search engine landscape is completely different now. But Andrew's core philosophy remains sound: success in affiliate marketing starts with finding the right offer. When you have a product that people are actively searching for, that converts well, and that does not have overwhelming competition, everything else becomes easier.

That principle is as true in 2026 as it was in 2011. The tools and platforms change constantly, but the fundamentals of good research, honest content, and serving your audience well are permanent.
