I always tell people to work on their internet business every day. But do you ever feel so tired at the end of the day that you can’t decide what to work on. I’m about to head into work and it occurred to me that I often tell people that if you want to be successful with a part time internet business you really ought to work on your business a little bit every day. The question is what in the world do you work on? And how do you stay focused enough to get that done at the end of the day?
One of the little tricks that I’ll tell you today in this very short Vlog post is that it’s important to understand what you’re going to work on that day at the very beginning of the day, or even better the night before.
Pick out one or two tasks that you’re going to accomplish in your internet business tomorrow night. That way when tomorrow night comes and you’re too tired from your day job to actually think about what it is that you need to do, you don’t have to make the decision because you already made the decision the day before.
What’s more, when it comes time to negotiate with yourself about whether or not you’re actually going to do the thing, you can decide that you’ve already decided, you made an agreement with yourself yesterday that you were going to do those one or two things today, so there’s no chance that you’re going to go watch television or do some other thing on the couch when you should be working on your internet business.
Just a little simple life hack of making sure that not only do you work on your internet business every day, but you decide what you’re going to do in the morning or the day before you actually need to do it.
